Zachary Jones, DDS

Dr. Jones graduated with honors from Duke University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.  He obtained his Dental degree from Stony Brook University, and completed a General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, NY.  Dr. Jones then pursued further training with a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in the nation’s capital. He served as the chief resident in his final year at this Level I Trauma Center. During his time at the rigorous 4-year program at Medstar, Dr. Jones also did rotations at John Hopkins Hospital, Children’s National Medical Center, National Institutes of Health (NIH), and DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Jones’ surgical residency provided him extensive training pertaining to the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including: mouth, jaws, and face including dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), pathology, maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, and anesthesia.  Dr. Jones enjoys volunteering and has participated in international outreach in Jamaica.Dr. Jones has done extensive medical research during his training, as well as authoring a medical presentation at Stony Brook University.In his free time, he enjoys watching and attending sporting events (particularly Duke basketball), snowboarding, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.
